Beautiful Christmas Present for my husband

My family and I purchased 4 sweaters, a scarf and hat when we stopped in at the Woollen Market shop in Westport, County Mayo. I love this sweater because of the different knitting patterns on it, especially the detail on the shoulders. The woman who waited on us was very friendly and fun. Our order was shipped home as promised and arrived promptly and in good condition.

A stylish and comfortable sweater

I love the original Aran pattern of the weave, as well as the thoughtful choice to use two colors, different on the shoulders. The sweater is very comfortable. It is light weight, which is nice for a wool sweater. They can be heavy. I am getting used to a sweater that zips on the opposite side, but it doesn't take long to get used to. The sizing is a bit different. You have to try these on to be sure you get the proper fit. I usually wear large but had to select XXL to get the proper fit with this sweater.

Husband is getting into his Irish garb!

At the beginning of our trip, my husband didn’t want a hat, nope to the sweaters, didn’t want to try anything on. By the time we got to The Woolen Market, he was discovering his Irish self and had a clear idea of what he wanted. He chose the blue, loving the color and the contrasting trim.
