Our Wool
OUR WOOL
Using premium wool types and by blending different wool yarns to create our merchandise collections our clothing and accessories are made using Merino Wool, Merino Lambswool and Cashmere.
-
MERINO WOOL
Merino wool is a natural wool from the Merino breed of sheep. A warm climate animal it’s wool is thinner and softer than regular wool making it easy to knit with and better to wear next to skin. - The merino yarn used in our clothing and accessories is sourced form Spain and from New Zealand and is a premium grade of woollen yarn selected for its luxurious qualities.
-
LAMBSWOOL
Lambswool is taken from the first shearing of the sheep, usually around seven months after its first coat has come in. To be classified as pure lambswool it has to be no longer than 50mm ensuring that the yarn is fine and soft. We prefer to use a merino lambswool in our accessories collections ensuring that not only is our raw material the softest possible but that it comes from the most sought after breed of sheep. - The merino Lambswool yarn used in our clothing and accessories is sourced form Spain and from New Zealand and is a premium grade of woollen yarn selected for its luxurious qualities.

CASHMERE
Sheared from the underbelly of a mountain goat, pure cashmere is super soft and almost silky to touch. Offering a warmer and softer property than other wool fibres our cashmere yarn has been sourced from the Kashmir region in outer Mongolia the traditional home of pure cashmere yarn. - We process our raw material Cashmere wool in Italy to create a super soft yarn that allows us to create our luxurious wool and cashmere throws and accessories
